Bringing a friendly, down-to-earth and informative approach to my work, and with my passion for style and fashion, I take enormous satisfaction and inspiration from transforming the look of all those who have come to me for help. What I feel are my particular skills for communicating thoughts and ideas to ultimately empower a client through their personal style, have helped many women to not only change the way they look but, mainly, the way they feel.
My career in fashion began studying for a degree in Fashion Knitwear Design at Nottingham Trent University. During my course I completed an industrial year placem‹ent at Marks and Spencer supplier, Coats Viyella and worked in collaboration with fashion designer Julien Macdonald on a knitwear range which featured in the flagship store in London. After graduating, I moved to London and spent several years working across the Media industry including radio, music and entertainment. Still with a burning desire for fashion and styling, I went on to complete a professional course in Styling for the Media at the London College of Fashion.
From 2009 I was able to build my reputation as a Personal Stylist by establishing and heading up high profile personal styling services in London. Then, in the summer of 2011, I was delighted to be selected from thousands of applicants for a small team of stylists as part of a directional new womenswear brand by Mary Portas, in conjunction with House of Fraser. This was also featured as part of a TV documentary, ‘Mary Queen Of Frocks’ on channel 4.
In 2015, I became a Guest Presenter on QVC Shopping Channel, talking to the nation about fashion, style and trends, whilst showcasing some of the world’s most well known and loved brands. Plus, I also have the opportunity to contribute on the latest happenings in fashion for regional BBC radio stations.
Styling is my passion and I love helping people to reflect their true natures through their clothes, and it somehow instils an enormous sense of self confidence when what you wear is in harmony with who you are.
